Anyone own this or have details on quality or cost to operate. We don't print much each month and often just black and white, but would like to be able to print some good quality prints sometimes.

Also curious about personal experience with this printer. Costco's ecotank 2988 was the same price when it went on sale so curious to see which is the better printer overall

This is a black and white inkjet? Not saying that's inherently a bad thing (maybe the supertank design makes it more competitive with laser and I'm slightly concerned about particulates from laser printers so I would consider this if I needed a black and white multifunction printer) but I don't think I've seen a monochrome inkjet since my HP deskjet 500 that I had around 1992 so there's a certain novelty to that

not the model you're looking for, but I have the older ecotank model ET-2850, and it's been great. I have printed over 600 pages and there's still over 75% ink in all the tanks. I can't see why this would be a b/w inkjet - I've only seen b/w printing in laser printers. That might be a deal breaker for some.
