This is a far superior panel to the QM6K Pro at Costco.

This is presently the highest quality to price ratio TV on the market today - easily beats anything else in its price range and more.

I went with the 98 QM8K for $3000 just because it was still so much cheaper than the LG G4 OLED I returned. The TCL holds its own in black levels and blooming, but it destroys the OLED in HDR brightness and specular highlights "pop".

The TV does still have 2 HDMI 2.1 ports so PS5 -> HDMI 2.1 on TV. Then eARC port on TV to AVR. You'd still get full audio to the AVR via eARC since you don't need 2.1 bandwidth for audio and the TV would still get the full video signal with the source going directly to the HDMI 2.1 port. Am I missing something here other than you'd need to have 2 HDMI cables coming out of the TV vs just one?

BB credit card only give you 5% of cash back not 10%.
Wrong. 10% on your first purchase. 5% for any subsequent purchases.

You correct actually, some how when I clicked on link it showed shipped from PC Richard and Son, to see a bonus from Amazon CC should be shipped directly from Amazon which is the case.
you need to change the shipper and then you will see the 10% cashback again!

Great deal on a great TV, but No HDMI 2.1 on the eARC port is a non-starter for me. Worthless with an AVR.

I wonder how reliable these large TVs are. The HM6K Pro at Costco has 5 years of warranty while Amazon only has 1 Year.

makes me regret getting the costco model before Christmas, I would swap it out but such a pain to do the return....
Same! I ordered my 85" 6mk right after Christmas before the sale ended but this twas the one that I really wanted but the cheapest price back then was at BB for $2200 and jumped to $2700. So, the 85" 6mk pro for $1,000 with the 5 years warranty just made more sense then.

You definitely downgraded, but you probably also saved literally thousands of dollars lol

Sigh, too big. Plus, don't you have to be quite a distance back as not to ruin your eyes/eyesight?

Best Buy does not price match Costco; but why would you want to? Costco includes a 5 year warranty .

Incredible TV for anything under $2,500. I paid around $2,300-2,400 earlier this year and it's probably my best home theater upgrade in the past 30 years...and I make them frequently.
Yes, the screen is glossy, so there can be reflections, but once the backlight kicks in the brightness is high enough to make it a non-issue imo. The black levels are what set it apart from the competition, as they're simply incredible. Also, if you pick one up, definitely get a 4k Bluray player. Streaming is fine for day to day viewing, but if you really want to see the quality of this screen I highly recommend higher bit rate content...your eyes will thank you!!
