This is a far superior panel to the QM6K Pro at Costco.
This is presently the highest quality to price ratio TV on the market today - easily beats anything else in its price range and more.
I went with the 98 QM8K for $3000 just because it was still so much cheaper than the LG G4 OLED I returned. The TCL holds its own in black levels and blooming, but it destroys the OLED in HDR brightness and specular highlights "pop".
The TV does still have 2 HDMI 2.1 ports so PS5 -> HDMI 2.1 on TV. Then eARC port on TV to AVR. You'd still get full audio to the AVR via eARC since you don't need 2.1 bandwidth for audio and the TV would still get the full video signal with the source going directly to the HDMI 2.1 port. Am I missing something here other than you'd need to have 2 HDMI cables coming out of the TV vs just one?

I returned my 98" QM8K and went with another lg oled. Once you've lived with oled, mini-led just doesn't measure up unless you are going for sheer size (or you need the brightness) like I tried to do. IYKYK.
Uh. Wrong. I the have a 70 OLED. Overall the qm8k blows it away... Only thing OLED does better is pure black, and it isn't that big of a gap. PLUS, your teeny tiny OLED pales in comparison with regards to cinematic impact.

Browsed to the page on Best Buy with Capital One Shopping extension enabled, then got an email for 10% back from COS and saved $198. Also signed up for the Best Buy Card at checkout for an additional 10% back. In theory, will only pay $1603.
For the record, QM7K is far superior to the QM6K at Costco
