One-conductor mono mic from an inline electret... I can't imagine would work over 12' anyway. It's an unamplified signal; for those distances you really want to be pushing line-level. There's a reason mic cables of any real length should be balanced (usually XLR) for serious applications. I just don't get why anyone would be looking for a TRRS cable of this length, so TRS kinda is the expectation here anyway, IMO.
EDIT: Though I guess the listing itself calling out 3-pole-not-4-pole-ness implies that more people are looking for 4 conductors of this length than I ever would've imagined, so I guess the unlikelihood of it working isn't obvious to people just trying to solve a problem in a way they think should work.
