Corded snow blowers are trash! I had a similar greenworks one and it looked like this except different coloring. Unless you live in an area where it never really snows, these are garbage and will piss you off every time you try to use it. These are super light so when you push into snow, this will push up and go over it. The cord is terrible, you'll hate how often you need to adjust or move it while you're doing your driveway. They have no power, you'll be throwing snow 2 feet away. Gas or battery snow blowers are expensive but the corded versions are just not what you want at all.

I have been using a Green works corded for the last 16 years in the snowbelt.....Belt just gave out the other day. I can't complain. Throws snow a mile.....

I have a electric snow blower, not this brand. Lightweight, moves snow, it's a great tool to have. $80 seems like a buying price, especially in January if you need one.

I've used a corded SnowJoe for several years, and it suits my needs & the configuration of my property, with a 100ft extension cord. The cord is a PIA, but thanks to global warming we no longer get much snow here in Southeastern PA. Good cheap solution if it only sees occasional use.

A corded snow blower is a disaster. Either you have a tiny property and no need to bring this thing out, or you have a driveway that requires a snow blower and you have to lug around a massive extension cord. There are very few situations where a corded snow blower makes sense.

A lot of people are here. Complaining about the ineffectiveness of a corded snowblower. While it may be ineffective for them, I don't think they're necessarily everybody. Just know what this shortcomings are and whether or not it makes sense for your situation. A corded snowblower, you'll probably need an extension cable that is quite long. You'll also want to get a good gauge one so that it doesn't have issues since they run a lot of power through the Cable. You'll have to keep moving the cord which is irritating but unlike batteries, I don't have to worry about running out of power before I'm finished with the job. I also only have occasional snow in the Mid-Atlantic historically so investing a ton of money. Which battery solutions tend to be doesn't make sense for a single use tool that takes up a lot of space. The other thing I'll I'll mention is that I think I have a Snow. Joe or something like that. It was only about 125 bucks or so and works great but it has been literally falling apart. Screws were the first thing to rust and then this last storm a bunch of parts broke off but it still works to throw snow. But it needs to be replaced after a few years and after a few uses. That said, for me, a corded approach is still the most sensible if I can find a decent quality one or a cheap one that'll last a few Winters
