However, "good" depends entirely on the material:
Cotton: Poor. Aim for 200–400 for a balance of softness and durability.
Linen: Excellent. Because linen fibers are thicker, 80–150 is the standard range for high-quality, breathable sets.
Microfiber: Irrelevant.
Microfiber is measured by weight (GSM), not thread count. BUYER BEWARE! So the 150 number is useless
