Model: Super Mario Bros.™ Wonder - Nintendo Switch (US Version)
Deal HistoryÂ
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
This should below $30 by now, but Nintendo would rather keep prices inflated for their "premium" product rather than lower prices to reach more customers after the initial post-launch sales window. They really need to bring back the Nintendo Selects line they used to have of discounted titles, but I doubt they will with this digital gaming era and physical media on the decline. They'd rather keep game sales stagnant at prices greater than $40 than reach a lot more customers/households at occasional sale prices below $30. They were forced to lower the Switch 2 price over the holiday season based on market conditions, so hopefully some of these game prices will eventually come down too.
Just curious, has there been issues with third party sellers working with Walmart?
Absolutely. Quick Google search will give you insight. But I'll tell you my experience.
Bought some plastic shelving units from a 3rd party, they arrived cracked, wrapped in plastic wrap. Walmart said if I wanted to return them, it needed to be in its "original packaging". Phone CS said I should take it to a store, store manager refused to help.
Ended up having to do a charge back with my CC. never again

I bought a Charizard UPC from third party seller on Walmart, came just fine no issues or tampering with the product. Don't take these people word for it, it's all a 50/50.

Thank you for the advice, since I'm not going to take your word for it.
Unlike in your world, all third-party sellers aren't magically linked. There is (usually) a unique risk each time, based on the seller.

lol ok, whatever floats your boat, you ever buy new from GameStop? That's a 50/50, sometime you get the game sealed, sometime it comes with a "new" sticker and it's not new, sometime it doesn't come with any cover art... but GameStop is not a 3rd party seller...
