This Kobalt 40V 20 inch mower stands out as a cheap way to get a 6Ah battery and a usable mower for small yards or existing 40V tool setups. The wider 40V platform is described as better for larger yards and more power, and the battery alone is treated as a big part of the value. The main caveats are that the listing is inconsistent, with some stores showing higher in store prices, cancellations, or stock issues, and the mower is not actually self propelled. It reads like a strong battery bundle with mower attached.
The 40V battery mower can cover larger yards with fewer passes and more power than smaller 24V options.
The deal can be especially useful for owners of existing Kobalt 40V tools who want extra batteries for attachments.
The included 6Ah battery can make the $99 price feel compelling, especially when the battery value is considered separately.
Store pickup can work smoothly when inventory is actually ready for pickup at the local store.
In-store pricing can differ sharply from the online $99 listing, and staff may require price matching or refuse the lower app price.
The mower may not be self-propelled, which can reduce convenience if you expected self-propelling performance.
Some orders can be canceled due to price mistakes, which can derail the $99 deal before pickup or delivery.
The mower's performance and quality may not meet expectations if you buy it expecting top-line results.

Found the LAST one in a lowes near my rentals but for 200$ and I still thought it was worth that but some butthead stole the battery. I have a ton of the batteries already and they marked it to 50$ bucks for me!
