Community Reviews
The TCL QM7K is a bright-room friendly 65 inch mini LED TV with strong picture quality for the money, especially if you want 144 hertz gaming and a set that avoids some OLED drawbacks. The community also points to solid value at around $800, with the Amazon Visa and other promos pushing the effective price lower. Compared with the QM6K, the QM7K is described as a major step up, while the QM6K Pro is still treated as a QM6K in practice. Main cautions are that OLED can still be tempting at this price, and TCL reliability and quality control remain a concern for some buyers.
Common Questions (4)
$797.97 is described as essentially the Black Friday price, with prior lows around $540 in a very short Walmart sale and around $810 through an LG Partner coupon. Using an Amazon Visa can add 10% back, which brings the effective cost to about $720.
Yes. The QM7K is described as a major jump over the QM6K Pro in picture quality, even though the QM6K Pro shares the same anti-glare coating and is still fundamentally a QM6K. The QM7K is the stronger choice if you want the better panel and overall image performance.
An extended warranty is recommended because TV reliability is described as unpredictable across brands, and TCL has had reports of panel and HDMI/CEC issues over time. A 5-year warranty is suggested as the safer buy for long-term peace of mind.
Yes. The QM7K's mini-LED design is described as performing better in bright rooms, with stronger durability and fewer OLED-style fragility concerns. That makes it a practical pick when you want high brightness without OLED drawbacks.

The qm6k pro is still a qm6k, and the jump to qm7k is a massive difference in picture quality.
