Nothing is made to last and QA is always garbage, no matter the brand. Just get your extended warranty no matter what.

My 8yo TCL 6 series is giving me fits with HDMI, optical still works well but CEC is buggy now.. could be on the fritz so may have to upgrade, it's been a good TV, nice and bright next to my SONY OLED.
