Depends what you are doing the 860 is raw power. This is smoother and "nicer" to use. The 870 i call a luxury impact. You still may need a normal impact driver sometimes as hydraulic doesnt have nearly the same torque. Speed and everything else is comparable tho. At work for me sometimes i need to remove say 1/4-20 teks amd they are extremely rusted and the 870 cant remove them or break them. For most ppl tho especially home use you may never deal with that. Most impact driver tasks dont necessarily require torque. Just depends what you are doing with it

it should not leak oil
check out torque test channel when they test this against the Milwaukee
