The Dewalt is better than the Milwaukee cut-off and at a good price

100% agree. Had the M12 cutoff and it's disappointingly weak, even after lowering my expectations for 12V

I have this and I use it more often than other tool to cut metal. I wish they make circular blade that cut metal at this size. Would be better than the traditional disc.

I have this exact one and just used it yesterday... Powerful, clean cuts and versatile... I've used it several times to cut bolts and no issue at all and even thin metal plates... Been great. I got it for a bit more so price is good.... Get blades because you'll end up using this alot

Does anyone know if wood cutting blades and a guide/rail is available for these? I've got a long overhead porch board I'm hoping to rip a strip from without taking it off first. Otherwise, I've got to remove a lot of stuff just to take it off. Thanks.

Yes, wood is one of the easier things to cut, for this tool. The one I got came with a metal cutting blade, a multimaterial, and another one for wood I think. You probably won't even need to get a replacement blade

Thank you, Ray. Does it have a fence or some kind of guide to help keep it straight for cuts?

Edit: I see it in the picture. I didn't notice it at first.

This is not designed for cutting wood. It spins at 20k RPMs and it's designed for metal, tile, stone, etc. https://www.dewalt.com/product/dc...-tool-only

I have a Ryobi version but that dust shroud would be super helpful.

Homey Depot & Lowes don't stock these smaller blades, so had to buy them off Amazon.
