Yea f* this place. Did my first giftcard deal back in December and the store I went to didn't honor the deal. Wasted my time and gas.

My local DG does not have sale items marked, they do not keep flyers on hand. I'm unable to use my phone inside the metal building to look sale items up. Either they are doing shady stuff or employees are just that incompetent.

Probably a little bit of both but proper systems and training can fix the employee issue. This isn't anything new to how stores have ever worked. I would put full blame on the corporation and doing shady things to get whatever profit they can. Ceo cant make their millions without some type of exploitation

Buying gift cards at DG is super convenient. You often only need to buy them and someone else will take care of using the stored value- sometimes within minutes of the purchase. No more worrying about using up a gift card balance!
