Anyone have any advice on a first time ps5, I haven't played a game since ps2 ? I bought one of these recently with intention of reselling , this bad weather I'm considering keeping it. Should I buy a plus membership? I'd like to try gta5 ,maybe some madden ? What's the best value to get some game time today? Sam's club has gift cards 10percent off reviews say 1hr delivery are they worth it? Please and ty in advance.

Yes. If you buy PS Plus you get access to PlayStation Hits which easily gives you a years worth of game backlog to play through if you don't game that much and haven't played since PS2. You then get 3 free games a month, usually at least one worth playing. For a casual gamer I think there's plenty to play in their library without ever actually buying games, unless you need the newest and hottest releases.

I was in a similar boat hadn't touched my ps3 since 2022 and hadn't really gamed much since 2018ish. I was able to trade in my ps3 and a ton of games and such for $110 credit at GameStop and got a sale deal on a ps5. So far just playing a few games and doing some online multiplayer with my friends has been fantastic. I also love racing games and have gran turismo 7 as I've had all of those and it's been a blast getting back into it.
