Knipex twin grips are much better than these in my experience. I had both side by side the vampliers couldn't get the screw out. The knipex worked.

Thanks for this comment. I have the Knipex Twin Grips and wanted to know how the Vampliers compare.

Icons are better than these, and Knipex are better than both.

+1 for Knipex TwinGrip if you've got the money to spend, but FWIW there's a cheaper version of the Vampliers from the same source with different branding (both made in Japan): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002L6HJAA

An alternative you can try is the Icon(Harbor Freight) Pliers (if you need them today)

I have both the Snap-on and Icon pair and they're remarkably similar. It has been relayed to me both the Vampliers and the Snap-ons have similar grip capacity(though I'm considering grabbing a set of the vampliers)

Also having both of the Snap on and Icon pliers, they're the best pliers I've ever purchased and I've considered buying a spare just because.

Anyone tried the Fujiya one? Bought one from Japan last summer with their linesman. Their screw extractor doesn't impressed me at all. While the linesman and flush side cutter are amazingly sharp.
