Knipex twin grips are much better than these in my experience. I had both side by side the vampliers couldn't get the screw out. The knipex worked.

+1 for Knipex TwinGrip if you've got the money to spend, but FWIW there's a cheaper version of the Vampliers from the same source with different branding (both made in Japan): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002L6HJAA

Icons are better than these, and Knipex are better than both.

An alternative you can try is the Icon(Harbor Freight) Pliers (if you need them today)
https://www.harborfreight.com/9-i...70612.html
I have both the Snap-on and Icon pair and they're remarkably similar. It has been relayed to me both the Vampliers and the Snap-ons have similar grip capacity(though I'm considering grabbing a set of the vampliers)

Also having both of the Snap on and Icon pliers, they're the best pliers I've ever purchased and I've considered buying a spare just because.

Anyone tried the Fujiya one? Bought one from Japan last summer with their linesman. Their screw extractor doesn't impressed me at all. While the linesman and flush side cutter are amazingly sharp.

Or, use my father's method: take an old flat head screwdriver, pound it like hell with a hammer into the screw, see if you can loosen enough to grab with some vise grips.

20% off is not a "Slick Deal" in my view. Between inflated list prices and sales that don't feel slick, I'm finding true deals harder to come by

From the review videos that I saw, the Vampliers have a shorter biting distance vs. the knipex so they are better for getting a tight grip on smaller stripped out screws (especially the Brute Vampliers). However long term reviews indicate Vampliers teeth get worn down faster and their grips on the handles come loose over time.
