While they activated and worked fine, they were not "New". They had been previously activated (used) by another apple account and the Apple warrantee started several months back when the original purchaser activated them.
These resellers have store returns priced entirely too high when you can get them new, unopened, and full warrantee for $199 from Amazon minus ~5-7% CB. Other reputable retailers have had them at a similar price with other coupons or CB offers as well.
