However, this appears to make it heavier and larger than the 511. The new 30W charger measures 3.6 × 3.2 × 3.15 cm (~1.4 x 1.3 x 1.2 inches) and weighs 49 g (~0.1 lbs), whereas the older device measures (~2.8 × 2.8 × 3.5 inches) and weighs 36g (~0.08 lb)

The weight is negligible (only 0.02 lb difference). The author of the article that you quoted has inches and centimeters mixed up. The actual size is 1.3x1.4x1.6inches. Not too far off the nano. I can confirm this because i just picked one up. Also according to the same article this one has a heat sink which adds to the weight. Personally,.I am willing to sacrifice size for better heat handling.

While slightly better, most laptops won't charge off 45w. For the size and price, this anker block is pretty good for most phones and tablets.

I understand the numbers a similar 1.2x1.3x1.4 vs Nano 3: 1.12x1.12x1.39 but volume wise it is 25% bigger.

At first I rolled my eyes at your comment... like yeah, so what? Maybe the product is good and no one complained.

And then I decided to look at the reviews. The vast majority are "reviews left as part of a promotion", are all from some site called Influenster, and every one of those reviews are a little too ecstatic to talk about a 7 dollar wall charger. I'm not saying this product is bad--I'm almost always satisfied with Anker products, but you were right, these reviews are suspicious.

I have it and based on my tests it matches the number it claims, whereas Anker falls short.

Need to buy many of these and sneakily replace every 2009 5W iPhone charger in my parents' house.

What exactly are you referring to, 15W? Care to elaborate?
