Two of the larger models are also on sale as a lightning deal
600VA/360W, 8 Outlets $45.45
800VA/450W, 12 Outlets $55.16

One comment says the 800VA model uses a 12V 9Ah SLA battery and those are only ~$25 to replace. The 800VA model would be my pick for this reason.

This is a good size and fits inside a Leviton vented structured media cabinet in two directions. The larger models fit just one way requiring the use of additional measures to get the door to close.

Not really. There are some here on Slickdeals who will talk about repairing everything, but honestly this is a "use for 3-5 year" and recycle thing.

Edit: It looks like this one may have a replaceable battery, although they don't make it easy to get to.

Yep, this is the real use case for these. Perfect for keeping the WAPs/Switches/etc up for short power outages.

There's no need to toss the UPS when a battery replacement will do. I am yet to come across a UPS that disallows battery replacements, although some of the Li-Ion ones may be built that way. Use the money to invest in a better UPS if that's what's desired.

Rufus shows several batteries sold by Amazon can be used for replacing the battery when it wears out.

Unlike some similar larger models, this one doesn't have a door to replace the battery as isn't designed with a user replaceable battery.
All these old-style UPS's use some sort of standard size 12V lead-acid battery. You can just unscrew the back to figure out the size then purchase the correct replacement battery.

Thank you. I ordered the 800va. I've replaced many APC 550-650VAs with SLA and once you find the correct generic replacement, it's really reasonable. Good to know those Amazon/Cyberpower are user replaceable. 800va for $55 is good.

I second this. The 12V 9Ah battery is much more common compare to other sizes. There is also a LiFeO4 battery that comes in that size.

Nice, got the 800VA one. But once it fails I'll probably just junk it for a LiPo model cause these lead acid ones just dont last long.
