Aromas of train cars, tarot cards and coal? It's a wonder these didn't sell 😂
i tried those at the store. it's possible it actually does smell good after being burnt but smelling it direct was terrible. 95% of every candle at the store smelled weird or bad.

man after hearing about yankee candle for years i thought they would smell great. i went to the store and smelled literally every jar and like 95% of them spelled weird or disgusting. the only ones that smelled good are traditional obvious ones like flower scents.
Years ago Yankee Candle was top notch, but they are pretty pathetic nowadays. They sold to a private equity firm that does what they always do by slowly ruining a brand. If you want to experience how they used to be, look into Kringle Candles. They are the old Yankee Candle owners.

Yeah, me and my wife would always buy Yankee candles, then the quality went WAY down. Now we only get Bath & Bodywork's candles.

wow for once i didnt get gaslighted to hell for saying a product wasnt good. i guess yankee candle didn't hire a propaganda campaign. i think the last 10 times i said a product wasn't good, people have come in telling me i'm wrong somehow and half of them have been extremely rude about it too like they're trying to emotionally punish you so you won't do it again.

And if you ever get a chance to visit their store in Bernardston, MA, do it. It's lovely. I used to love the amazing Yankee Candle in Deerfield, MA when it was such a destination. Today it's just a zombie store and a shadow of it's former glory since they moved the headquarters, but 15 min up the road is Kringle. It's not a 90k foot bustling flagship with a whole bavarian forest and medieval castle inside, like Yankee Candle was, but it's still very nice with a restaurant too. It has the old Yankee Candle Feel and the scents are amazing.

you know what's funny, im at dollar tree right now and all their 1.25 candles smell good. it'sike yankee candle engineers trying way too hard to be unique but end up smelling weird and or bad.
