I confirm this is a great laptop for kids --> college kids. Bought this for my brother and the battery went bad after 2 years but was easily replaceable with a $20 replacement.

Didn't realize Gateway still existed. That was the first desktop we ever owned back around 2001. Came with a free disc for "The Sims".
Good specs though for the price.

Dumb question, is ram removable? If so I may swap and put this ram in another project.

It doesn't have thunderbolt? If it has one, I will be in for one since I have an eGPU for gaming

The Gateway GWTN141-10BL laptop comes with 16GB DDR4 system memory (RAM). It typically operates at a speed of 3200 MHz, and the RAM is soldered directly onto the motherboard, meaning it is not upgradeable.

A glossy 187 nits screen; maybe not the best combination.

Still a great deal at this price. USB-C port supports charging and DP video output.
Two m.2 SSD slots, but RAM is soldered.

Battery lasts for around 9 hours browsing the web on Wi-Fi.

I bought a gateway from Walmart about 7 years back from a other deal. It was a superb deal for the money and it lasted forever.

I think a potato would be able to play that.

Caveat emptor, these 11th-gen Gateway laptops have generated lots of reports of swollen batteries.

I don't think it is no. I bought this about 2 or 3 years ago and I believe one or both sticks are soldered on to the board. Google will know for sure though.

It's now Walmarts house brand. They've been coming out with some solid value options. I had their 2060 gaming laptop and also this one and they weee both great.
