The proliferation of "custom" zipper cases for every kind of electronic device and accessory on Amazon mystifies me. So many of them appear to be junk quality and/or completely pointless.

For tool batteries, I think I'd greatly prefer a knockoff pelican case from HF, no dividers necessary.

This would go well with some of those CUKTECH battery chargers from a few days ago.

Ships within 1-2 MONTHS. Okay for me since it will be for a birthday, but that's a while.

Yeah, disappointed to see it's not Lipo safe. Ammo cans may be the way to go. I bought a Lipo safe bag before, probably from an SD post. I think that is only safe for half an hour or so, ammo can may be better.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B091L1XCF3

I ordered 13 x 9 versions of these on Temu - I just ordered one at first to check it out, and then ordered 6 more. I got them in the three team colors of piping (yellow, blue, and red). They're actually nice cases, although I paid $8 to $10 each, shipped, and to be honest, I use them for a lot of other things - not intended for my Milwaukee M18 and M12 batteries. They are a rigid EVA case, and the dividers they have are velcro on the end to attach to the edges, which seens a little dicey but they have reinforcement in the bulk of the divider, it's not just cloth, so it's sort of rigid like the case itself. It also came with one piece of egg crate foam - not necessarily awesome.
I order a lot of crappy cases for various reasons (mostly work related), these aren't bad cases as long as you do a little due diligence in your organization - these are essentially empty "canvases" for you to work on. I use elastic grid organizers and other cheap add ons to make them very useful.
fwiw, the first one came in one week.

The reason for the proliferation is that tools in cases are much easier to transport and much easier to stack. And a case fit to the tool means it isn't going to shift around, making it more able to handle rough handling.
And some sort of internal divider is a goo idea.
