Nope. They change the game after you buy. All your STLs are belong to us.
some printers; like the cantauri carbon don't allow you to send files to the machine using their own app - you must walk the file to the machine on a memory stick.if you did the exact same thing on a bambu printer (one that doesn't even need to be online) what makes you think they will be privy to your precious trinkets?
bambu isn't open source. in the same way that apple only allows software to go thru their app store to get to a phone - bambu routes files (ONLY THE ONES YOU CHOOSE TO SEND WIRELESSLY) through their servers - so if some chinese company wanted to steal the crap people print they probably could.
if one had some sort of sensitive file they could put it on a memory stick and walk it to the machine and bambu would be out of the loop.
the tinfoil hat society thinks that bambu/china cares what you print and are going to steal your stuff - whereas 90% of what real people print is already online somewhere; much of it from bambu's own servers. there's quite a bit of "they could do this" and not a lot of substance that normal users would care about. you'll find that random non-bambu customers will actually enter the bambu deals thy have no intention of purchasing just to express their paranoia.

I don't respect corporations that don't respect us. It's that simple. Their attitude is that they still own your machine after you purchase it. We see this pervasively with restrictions on use, restrictions on repair, for a variety of devices, and usually couched in the fraud of "protecting" us.

I have a Centauri Carbon and this is blatantly false. You can use the web interface, you just need to find the IP assigned to your machine.
