Went from like up to 12 toppings, $9.99. Then up to 7 toppings $9.99. Now, 2 toppings for $6.99.
I think they always had this deal or am I thinking of another place? They had this deal where select items (pizzas, breadsticks, etc.) were $6.99 each.
I think that "pick whatever for $6.99" was for medium pizzas, not large.
This is a good deal for large pizzas, despite only being two topping.

Wage conscious label, under $10.875 at the time where minimum wage is $7.25/hr.! Back in the day, one topping large would have been $1.50 on $1/hr.
The super high number of toppings always yields lower quantities of each topping anyway, otherwise the pizza wouldn't cook under the weight of two pounds of meat and vegetables

For carryout only deal like this, they have constantly had $7.99 large one-topping for a year or two now. Before that it was two-topping for the same price.

This is about the best deal you get at domino's imo if you can live with two toppings. More toppings than that and the amounts get reduced to about the same total weight anyway at least from my stores. Get the 20% or more discounted gift cards from Costco/Sam's and you're golden.

There was an offer like that earlier that I had seen, Sam's Club I think.

https://slickdeals.net/f/19138786-starts-1-28-sam-s-club-members-february-instant-savings-book-100-domino-s-pizza-gift-card-4-x-25-70-more?src=category_page

I am not a Sam's Club member though.

Edit: I did a cost analysis on getting the same pizza for the 50% off deals Dominos has and it beats that. If that deal was applied, I would have to spend $16.07/2 = $8.03 (assuming Dominos would eat the cost of the cent). Not bad. Usually a flat rate never beats % off, but in this case it does.

Also remember, if you want four toppings, put two toppings on each half and it will still be counted as two toppings total.

Those multiple topping 'deals' aren't really deals at all. The more toppings a pizza has on it, the less of each topping they use. They'll say it wouldn't cook all the way through otherwise, which is true, but the price of toppings should always be discounted as you add more. You should never be paying the full $1.50 per topping if they're only putting on a third of the quantity that they would put on a one topping pizza.

Ideally, yes; however, that is where Dominos makes their money. Businesses will always charge flat rate for each add on that should become more and more discounted, the more of whatever you buy. Good example of buying in bulk is Costco, essentially the same thing.

The Costco 20% off domino's e-gift card deal is running. I _think_ these can be had by non-members for 5% surcharge but not sure.

My issue is that I have a Costco Membership and a Shop Card (I use this for gas if T Mobile/Fuel Rewards partnership $0.20/gal minus the current price of gas at Shell is not cheaper than Costco on the same day) because my parents usually gift me with it. I do not have any credit cards that Costco accepts in store because they do not accept Discover.

This is a good deal for anyone else on here who can use it.

Wow, so eloquently stated and with details to backup how the OP was wrong...apparently the OP and Domino's website is wrong showing $6.99, but you're the only one with inside knowledge that it's actually $7.99.
