The last deal, I got one of these. It was new. had to buy like $80 worth of coffee pods and you got the machine and frother for free or something. Anyway... I gifted it to my kid who loves it.

Only L'or and Peet's make the coffee pods. L'or has exited the North American market, and Peet's has now been acquired by Keurig, so the coffee pods have a high risk of being unattainable soon. Stock is already lacking.

Peet's/L'or tries to make it look exclusive, but don't fall for it. This machine works with the original Nespresso pods and plenty of companies make those pods and I doubt they're looking to stop anytime soon. Personally, I use/prefer Illy and Lavazza pods with my L'or.

Wrong. I've had the L'or machine for 3 years. I love it. I buy Lavazza, Illy, Nespresso, L'or, Peet's, off-brand all the time. Never had an issue sourcing pods, even recently.

I'm talking about the coffee pods, not the espresso pods. You can of course use any Nespresso classic-style pod in this.

IMO the draw of this machine is that it can do espresso PLUS full-cup-coffee like a Keurig. The uncertain future of the coffee pods is something to consider, just saying.

I got that same deal and now have 2 spare ones in the garage. I love this machine.
