Got one a couple months ago for $24. Pretty off-brand but it does feel good. Nice and clicky, very tactile. Would recommend. Thinking of getting another one at this price.
The first you'll notice is auditory and tactile. The sound of the keys and the feel of them as you press. You'd be surprised how much those things affect a typing experience. And typing is the thing you do most on your computer. The second is how a mechanical keyboard communicates with the PC versus a membrane keyboard. You are able to hit several keys at the same time on a mechanical keyboard without any of the key presses failing (unless the actual key mechanism fails, which is rare). This is called key rollover. Most inexpensive membrane keyboards allow 2 keys to be pressed at once, any more than that and the inputs start to fail. Mechanical keyboards typically have a 6 or all key rollover, so you can press 6 keys or all keys and there should be no key that doesn't register. This can be helpful with using multitasking macro functions or playing videos games. If you log into your computer once a day for five minutes to check emails, none of this matters. If you spend 30 minutes or more on a PC per day, you'll see your quality of life increase from using the right mechanical keyboard. This is the cheapest price I've ever seen for a fully mechanical keyboard btw.
