Switch is the worst platform for these. All 3 games run at 30fps. MGS 2 & 3 run at 60fps on PS5.

Got this last time it was $20, totally worth it. I got the switch version and the only issue I ran into was a crash during MGS3. Because of the very generous checkpoint system I hadn't saved in like an hour. It's a common issue, I just recommend saving during the motorcycle segment so you don't lose too much progress.

On Switch, this runs at 720p in handheld mode and 1080p in docked mode, both at 30 fps as mentioned above. You'll also need an additional 32 GB (19.8 GB for the games and 12.2 GB for the bonus videos - the Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel and Metal Gear Solid 2: Digital Graphic Novel).

These $20 for it are the best because for some reason Best Buy lists these physical copies as $39.99 retail even though other places or digital are $59.99. So it's an extra $10 off when it goes on these 50% sales.

None of the MGS games are on the cart by the way, Just the 8-bit/MSX games. You have to download MGS 1/2/3.

So basically just a key on a cart...again.

I just bought it for switch but after reading the 30 fps thing I'm having regret. Will it be better in the steam deck or is it the same fps there?
