I have the pro's, but I often find myself wanting this design....the ones that don't fully plug your ear canal....allows a bit more air to circulate.

I've had these since they launched a little over a year ago, and LOVE them even though I also have the Pros. The open design is much more comfortable for me than the Pros (and I suspect for most people, although of course this is personal), yet the fit is secure. Of course the ANC isn't as strong as on the Pros, but I actually find it perfect for many use cases. I usually use Adaptive mode (basically a blend of ANC and transparency), especially when I'm walking around urban settings. This takes the edge of loud noises like trucks, construction, HVAC, etc., and lets me listen to podcasts at a lower volume, while still allowing enough sound through to maintain situational awareness.

Hands-down the favorite Apple product I've purchased and the one I use most daily. I do wish they lasted a bit longer on battery - 4 hours with ANC (or Adaptive) means I'm often charging these in the middle of the day.

The pro 3 definitely fits better for me. Regular AirPods always feel like they're about to fall out.
