"3X Stronger Enamel Protection"
Note the fine print. It is 3 times stronger than your mouth's natural defenses. This is just an ordinary toothpaste in terms of enamel protection, providing no more fluoride than standard toothpastes. It has potassium nitrate for sensitivity, and THAT differentiates it from, say, Original Crest.
Sensodyne has a lot of marketing fluff.

I actually looked this up out of curiosity. Apparently, in the US, NovaMin is classified as a drug rather than a cosmetic, which means it's more difficult (and expensive) to get it approved for use here. While you can buy Sensodyne with NovaMin in Europe, you can't here (though you can buy it overseas and have it shipped.)

There is a close alternative in the BioMin toothpaste, which is sold here in the US, although it doesn't have fluoride, at least not the version on the website.
Take a look at nHA toothpaste, study (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/arti...C12131052/) shows it has a better potential to remineralize enamel. Particle size of the nHA compound is important in how it adheres to the enamel. Some brands that are rated well, Fygg, Dr. Jen's Super Paste, Nudge 10% nHA, Mouthology 10% nHA, Ollie Clean Mint, Elims Reflection, etc. Of course, the consistent correct application of it is needed to see results. After brushing, no rising for half hour or similar time.

You can find the NovaMin version on Amazon for around $20.

I used to get it for $9/tube up until last year but price doubled.
Here's one on Amazon in the $9 range, apparently from India: https://www.amazon.com/Sensodyne-...tcorr&th=1

The international version of Sensodyne contains Calcium Sodium Phosphosilicate (NOVAMIN) which actually repairs enamel. Another alternative is toothpaste containing Nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA). You'll want something that specifically says it contains 10% by weight/concentration.
Quote from WiseArm257 :
I've actually purchased Novamin-containing varieties before. I do wonder why Novamin's use is restricted in the United States, and if the dental industry does NOT want it used because it is actually effective in enamel repair.

Have any of you positive results with NOVAMIN or nHA? Or is just using fluoride toothpaste really enough?

I have. It's made my teeth noticeably less sensitive. I used it for a year but not I use 1 tube every 6 months or so.
