Solid router I guess. Not an amazing deal or anything. I personally wouldn't get it since it is only dual-band and lacks the tri-band 6ghz range. This is a non-issue for some people, but for someone with like the Quest 3 wireless headset, you really need the 6ghz range to maintain a clean, uninterrupted signal to stream VR games from Steam on your PC to your VR headset.

It's about to the point where asus is the only brand to get. lol. the only one I am considering. Almost every other brand is either Chinese or helping Russia. Not even sure who makes amazon's routers for them, but then those don't even have tx power adjustment.

No, I have a 2 story house and my gaming PC and wireless router is upstairs. I wirelessly stream to my Meta Quest 3 from my router, upstairs. Downstairs in the Great Room is where I generally will use the Quest 3 and I am connected to the Wifi 6e standard 6ghz connection. The Quest3 games that run native on the hardware are pretty good, but not nearly as good as what you can run on your full gaming PC. So, let's say I want to play Half-Life Alyx on my Quest 3. The only way to do this is with Steam VR.
Well, the Quest 3 has the Steam app for streaming your games direct from your PC.
My setup is like this:
Gaming PC > LAN > Network Switch >LAN > Wireless Router > Wifii 6e 6Ghz signal to ANYWHERE in my house > Meta Quest 3.
No need to be in the same room. This works flawlessly without any connection issues.
I found that on Wireless 5G it would regularly drop connection, reconnect, 2 minutes later, drop connection again. HUGE pain.
Quest 3 is basically the best bang for your VR headset imo, because you get the native Quest 3 Meta store games, which there are many, but then you also have access to the entire STEAM library of VR games through the Steam app. Just be aware that you really need a powerful gaming PC to do top end VR streaming.
I have this router and it is awesome. Absolutely awesome. Broad signal strength, the ability to turn on/off VPN right from the app, and it's really easy to set up.
I was one of the early testers for it and it's my home router of choice. Only pulls about 10w.

Good to know, which router do you have? I always thought 6ghz signal didn't travel far and to be useful/have fast speed, you typically had to be in the same room as the router (have line of sight) for it to be useful.

I got this router a couple weeks ago. It's been great so far. It's far out shines the Asus rt68 router I had on the second floor of my house. I usually hang out in the basement, which is clear across the house from the router that's upstairs. So basically it's across a 2700 ft.² house with two floors, and a bunch of walls in between. I'm not losing any signal here at all and the speeds are much higher. Also, with the Asus router, whenever I was doing FaceTime, the voice would cut out from time to time. I have no such issues with this router. Highly recommended.
