Phuket is beautiful but be sure to check out the nearby Islands. when you think it can get any better, it does. I recommend Koh Phi Phi which is about 1 hr speed boat or 2 hour ferry from Phuket. Super gorgeous untouched feel to it. great food and culture, more private than Phuket and will not break the bank. As with most Southeast Asian countries, avoid the summer time as they get horribly humid and have monsoon type of downpours.

My buddy went there before covid, got trapped over there because of covid, and he never left because he loves it so much. He is very happy, made lots of friends, and even travels to other countries like China to make extra money with wholesale business.

Great price for the resort but I'd be flying out of NYC... roughly 22 hour flight so I can't imagine doing it in anything less than business class... flights are roughly $10k per person on the cheapest airline I could find.
