I've used the cheap generic knock-off rollers and they wear quickly, I now buy only oem roomba parts..on sale, and have much better results.

if you have residents with long hair, or kids who play with string-y stuff - these items will find a way to wrap around the rollers, and start cutting into the rubber, making the rollers disintegrate. Or if you have something get stuck in the roller but not stop the vacuum, the gripper portion of the roller will wear down, and the whole roller will become pointless.
I absolutely have to replace mine once a year on the 980 (which has been going strong since 2019!)

Bankrupt, may be the end of Roomba products and supplies. Get some replacement parts while they're still here.

My dog hates the Roomba, so it had to be put down. Referring to the Roomba ;-)

I have the 960 and my wheels are bald and I used up my last rollers... I don't know if I should just retire it gracefully at this point or buy more replacement parts , I do have a shark robot vac, it's good but iRobot was the gold standard imo.

Definitely worth fixing. Just replaced mine. They're inexpensive parts, and it's an easy repair. Took me less than 10 minutes.

Nope. They were acquired by Shenzhen Picea Robotics (China), which was actually the manufacturer of Roombas as well as other robot vacuums, and Santrum Hong Kong. Yet another sad ending for a once great American company.
