They have a bunch of scents in this bottle shape and it's ugly as hell, I wouldn't buy it just cause it would look terrible in my collection

Yeah, I have a few Lattafa scents from when I was getting into fragrances and the sticker shock got me to go for dupes. These always come highly recommended for being like 95% similar, and now that I have some of the real fragrances to compare to the original ones I got, I have no idea what people are smoking lol. I might just be super sensitive to the musk they use but they all have this heavy oily headache vanilla musk to them. I could forgive an ugly bottle if it was otherwise a good buy but I legit think cheaper "real" colognes like nautica or cool water are such better buys in every way.

A lot of the dupes are pushed on social media by "influencers" that are clearly paid. That being said I have some clones from Maison Alhambra that are pretty good, Afnan makes some really good clones but stay away from French avenue all together. Lattafa makes Maison Alhambra but I think the ones that are branded Lattafa are paid to be promoted and most suck besides Asad. It's complicated and in many cases you gotta maturate before you can get depth and performance out of them. Never go off of social media and look at actual reviews on parfumo and you can get some nice clones but it's always a risk.
