Ad issues

So why is SD doing ads that you have to click "Continue" in order to keep scrolling? Come on man. It locks the whole page up. Talk about intrusive. There has to be a happy middle for ads, and have them be a pain in the behind.

Thanks for the feedback. Was this on a desktop experience? Mobile web? Or the iOS and Android app? We actively attempt to block intrusive ads, so if you could let us know a bit more about the ad (brand, etc.) that would be helpful. Thanks again!

thanks for the report and sorry for the poor experience. We definitely don't allow ads like that.

It's desktop. Only been for this past week. I will keep an eye out for a particular ad that does it.

That didn't take long at all. This is on Firefox btw. SD won't let me upload the screenshot, so here is the link to it. Tried on Chrome and can't duplicate. So seems to be only Firefox. I installed adblock extension for Firefox for the time being, which fixed it for the time being, until the issue gets addressed. Ran all my preventative malware programs, so I know its not on my end. But the ads highjack the browser every time.

Thanks, very helpful. We were able to track down the offending creative - seems like some other publishers were dealing with this new creative type issue also. Rest assured we are vigilant in blocking intrusive ads, it is certainly not our intention. We are working with our ad provider to resolve this. Thanks for the report.
