Dear valued customer,

Your recent purchase of the Serengeti Dante 2.0 sunglasses was mistakenly listed as having glass lenses. While Serengeti offers this model with both mineral glass and Trivex (Saturn) lens options, the version we sold was with the Trivex Saturn lens option, not mineral glass.

If unsatisfied, you're welcome to initiate a return for a full refund. We sincerely apologize for the error and appreciate your understanding.

Regards,
The Eyedictive Team

This is the best Serengeti deal in a long time with the Dante 2.0 being $89.

Of the ones I saw the Dante 2.0 was the only ones that had mineral glass lenses.

The original Dante's were my favorite pair of shades before they were tragically lost on a kayak trip. Wish they had them in a brown or gold lens, those really make foliage greens pop. Serengeti glass lenses offer some of the best optical quality around imo.

I loved the model with glass lenses I got from here a few years back. Unfortunately I made the mistake of thinking they would be hard to scratch, and ended up with a scratch right in the sight line on one lens. Glass lenses are a pleasure to look through and clean, but imo not much more scratch resistant than the newer coated plastic lenses.

My dante 2.0's arrived, but seem like fakes. The lenses sound and feel like plastic. Anyone else?

Their mineral glass lens are superb. The polycarbonate ones are good quality, but subject to scratches as are all polycarbonate lens.

Are these still good with the Saturn lens? Im assuming glass is fine but it's probably heavily too? Any thoughts between the blue and brown lenses? Thanks
