Assuming this is the same Sansui OLED sold by BJ's last year, it uses an LG B3 OLED panel. I was blown away by how much better this is than a mid-tier LED 55". It might not be the best choice for a bright room, but other than that, it's a solid deal. As a bonus, BJ's offered a free 5-year warranty.

Specs & reviews indicate it has 4 HDMI inputs, 2 of which support HDMI 2.1.

A couple of the new Hisense TVs have a single DisplayPort (via USB-C... though not a 1-cable solution since it only charges @ 10W). For instance, the mid-range U8QG TVs (65-inch model number is 65U8QG, 75" is 75U8QG, 85" is 85U8QG, etc.) have this new port option.

I'm sure it's just me, but why not spend a little more on a tv that you have ACTUALLY HEARD OF BEFORE? Go ahead, click the link. Not a single review on this tv. Just give me the $500 and I'll send you a cat.

It uses an LG B3 panel. It is not a rebranded LG TV. That being said, you won't be disappointed for $500. The user experience is quite good because it's just your basic Google operating system, which means it has built-in Chromecast, and the picture is on par with an LG B3. I haven't experienced any blur or jutter with fast action sports. I think I even prefer the operating system to that of my older LG C1. I have my Sansui connected to a Firestick Max. It took a while to find the right remote code, but I finally got it working as it should with the Firestick remote. I no longer even use the Sansui remote.

That's still a LOT more exciting than it isn't in my opinion. That means it probably does audio too through USB-C, fixing a lot of the downsides of it.

This is seemingly incorrect and an issue with the horrible state of HDMI naming conventions and regulations. It's abysmal.

Check the forums on the Rtings website. It's possible that it is being... at best... misrepresented, and at worst, just purposefully misleading. In any case, HDMI is one of the dumbest collective groups on the planet at this point.

I have no idea what's going on with this thing. I DID find it on Microcenter. https://www.microcenter.com/produ...rt-oled-tv

I would personally want to be able to return it to a local store jsut in case.

Well now that you have heard of sansui. They have been around just as long as LG. Both were founded in 1947. I didn't know they were still around. But they use to be one of the best in hi-fi gear.
