Seems odd but the folks over on the Anker Nano Screen Display thread are saying that the new iPhones no longer have smart USB PD charging built in so that an external smart charger is required to keep your iPhone from overheating and burning up, Whether or not this is true the dancing eyeball animations may be worth an extra $25. Those who rely on the charger to remind them which iPhone model they own will want to pass on Otterbox.
Did someone here receive cables by mistake?
