what are everyone's thoughts on this? I could be off a little on prices but the Delta 3 Ultra Plus is generally on sale for 1300 to 1400 and the 4000w Generator is generally around 1200. Seems like a decent deal besides it being $2200 after tax.

Are most people just not using or buying the 4k Smart Generator and using a cheaper inverter?

My thinking was along the same lines. It also gives you a non-solar way to charge batteries if off the grid or cloudy days w/o power.
