I think it comes done to either gen2 or cheap knockoffs - depending on your use case. I don't think gen1 are worth it now. The precision finding is so much better on gen2 it's not really worth it to get gen1. The knockoffs don't have precision finding but are much cheaper than you'll find gen1s.

Just be aware, everything you want to use to track these with will need to be on 26.2.1 at least.. so no 18.x IOS on phone or ~ v 11 on watch.

Thanks OP. Got a set to replace the Gen1s in more critical applications (e.g., cars, bikes, etc). Backpacks and suitcases can stay with Gen1s.
