240V means less current for the same amount of power and is even more safe.

That is true. I also see that you can plug into a 240 Volts outlet. I stand corrected.

According to the pictures in one of the reviews it's not 240V (but the USB's might be). FYI, I plugged a similar power strip (in the listing 110-240V but only 110V on the label) in Europe and somehow ended up half melting the plug.

USB is a set output voltage, regardless of input voltage.

Your device will work on 240v, but if you don't step the voltage down to 120v through a converter, you're gong to fry anything that can't handle 240v.

I have an adapter that works up to 240v, but anything I plug into the outlet must be able to hand 240v. Then, I have an actual converter thy converts 240v to 120v for the outlets.

Good for cruise ship travel means it provides no surge protection. It won't protect your electronics for home usage.

Cruise ships strictly prohibit most extension cords and surge-protected power strips due to fire risks, often confiscating them at embarkation. Only non-surge protected, cruise-approved outlet extenders or USB-only chargers are generally permitted. Passengers requiring power for CPAP machines should request extension cords from guest services in advance.

Also fine for a desk or couch where you'll spend a decent amount of time. USB A is 12W, USB C is 15W. 15 watt will charge a completely dead phone in two and a half hours.

Aren't most electronics dual-voltage (110-240V) these days? Only old artifacts should be of concern. I travel abroad quite a bit and have never had any issues.

Plugging into an international 240V (220V) outlet would require a shape adapter. Fine. But passing that 240V through to the US plugs on it is BEGGING for disaster.

I just received mine and it is definitely NOT 240 volt capable like some of the comments and the product page itself says. If you plug this into a 240 volt outlet, you will fry the USB outlets. Definitely NOT for international travel.

Not if your equipment with a US plug is designed to work on 220V. IE, many typical laptop power adapters.

Received it today and the package says 125 Volts - no mention of 240 Volts. It will likely fry the USB ports if plugged into 240 Volt - I think it is just for domestic travel only, maybe Canada but thats about it !!
