I have no idea. It was accurate about the stock at my local store, and refreshed the stock to depleted once I made the purchase some time between purchase and posting (2hrs)

That site seems to be showing $225 for select locations. Just a quick glance appeared mostly northeast.

Sale price acceptable, regular price is too high. I have had one for a few years. The controller went bad and had to be replaced. The cheapo replacements don't have Bluetooth, make sure to get the right replacement. It will smoke anything for 8 hrs on one hopper of charcoal. I have had grease fires in this more than once trying to grill a family picnic of burgers. Need to keep it clean or keeps the temps below 350. I like it overall but have been using a pellet grill more lately for the auto start, Masterbuilt requires a form of charcoal ignitor.

Oh my gosh - From $899 down to $225 - You bet that's a great deal. I paid this much for just my electric smoker with no grill or griddle.

I would question the wisdom of driving to a location hours away in this weather.

Read the reviews about the firebrick burning out and warranties not being awarded. Still seems like a great deal if you dont expect it to last forever. There are some near me on clearance, but im going to pass on this.

Just sharing what I did... I buy the large aluminum pans from Sam's and place under the grates to catch grease and little to no mess. I haven't had any grease fires since then. Also check out this site to help reinforce some of the standard parts https://www.lss-mods.com. I've had mine for years and love it for long smokes i.e. briskets

I've had my 1050 for 4yrs? (the Christmas night PM). I have used mine a lot & never had a fire. Just burn it out when done with a cook. Temped since the 1050 is a little big for us these days.

I had one of these and HATED it.
After about 2 years, I eventually gave it away for free and went back to a gas grill. For one, mainly because getting it to light wasnt reliable, even using multiples of the masterbuilt firestarter blocks. It could be a 15-20 min process to get it lit. Eventually I got a propane blowtorch and that made starting it easier. Second, you dont get a good charcoal flavor from this. You get a charcoal smell. but not a lot of the flavor. As I learned after the fact, a lot of those charcoal flavors are from the fat and meat juices dripping off the meat onto the coals. When the firebox is offset, the juices dont hit the coals to create that effect.

Ahhh shoot, I fail at reading comprehension; I thought I'd be able to buy it and go pick it up. 15 minutes of searching and I found one 100 miles away (I'll do that drive for $600 on a grill I've had my eye on anyway), but no, one left in stock and it's just buy in store while supplies last.
But hey, if anyone is in Richmond, Virginia, get your ass in gear:
