Where are you seeing that price on the wireless? Last I can find was Dec-ish.
That being said, the wired model, you can get $17 at BB right now...I'd probably agree that is a likely the best buy (pun intended) against this also wired controller.

That best buy one is not compatible with Xbox. It's only compatible with PC and android, hense the cheaper price. The compatibility with Xbox is often an extra licencing requires which makes it more expensive.

That is true, but I was replying to a suggestion for another Android / PC only 8bitdo Ultimate 2C (not one of their "for Xbox" versions). So pretty apples to apples to what was being discussed, especially concerning price due to neither being licensed.
FWIW, there are non-licensed Xbox compatible controllers but MS can and sometimes does block them, so likely not worth the risk to save a few $ because you could end up with a paperweight.
