If all I need is a C to C cable, is this really that much more durable? It is 2-4 times more expensive than some of the other cable deals here.

I don't know if I should be annoyed with Apple business decisions still forcing people to buy lightning adapters for older models in 2026, or somewhat impressed by the longevity of their products necessitating it.

Any noise from the cable? I have bad experiences from other cables with lights and meters on there producing high pitched noises.

The thick part of the connector may be a problem for deeply recessed charging ports. I haven't seen this cable in person; I am just judging from the pictures.

Yes. It is very thick, nice, durable. Tangle resistant. Solid. I'd recommend getting the USBC only version though, without the adapters. I bought 5x of these cables and gave them as gifts. Everyone loves them

I got a number of similar designed cables, I really didn't like how bulky the connectors were. No real technical problem, but I stopped dealing with them.
From my experience, just buy the right cables, don't mess with this design.
Also,... funny the marketing team touted them as "Apocalypse-proof" in one of the pictures.

I got their other version, https://a.co/d/8Z3XJIb and bought several for gifts. I've only one device that can't charge with it because the size of the connector (my vape)but otherwise, for phones, gaming devices etc it's perfect

I primarily use PC/Android but I love the classic iPod. Thoroughly impressed with the longevity of a lot of apple hardware I can't use anymore.
