Kettle cooked...where the oil seeps in. Then air fryed which just mean dried for 5 seconds vs letting them drip for 20 seconds

For sure. I'm stupid and didn't read the bag/listing too well and thought these were fully air fried. Took them arriving and me looking at the front again after realizing the calories were almost exactly the same....to see that I was wrong. 100% a gimmick. I can see why they're going on clearance online and in stores (according to another commenter).
