I'm in the DeWalt family and I've been really waiting to replace my gas powered trimmer. I know this one may have motor issues, but what's the other option?

I see a 60v one for $195 but surprisingly it has a ton of bad reviews as well. The other 60v is extremely expensive and way overkill.

Advice? Is the 972 60v worth the $80 more?

EDIT: Went with the 972b for $195 on Amazon. Seems like you get a better and more versatile tool for just a little more by going with the 60v.
