The specs in the listing says this is the 2021 model. It seems to be a blend of specs for the frame and TV and it's not 100% clear if this is the most recent model.

If you click on "See all items in this bundle" it'll give you the model number and it shows 2024.

I never understood the appeal of a mid-tier TV paired with wood trim priced as a high tier. I'd welcome someone to explain it. I mean I get the "less TV more Art" wife approval thing... and perhaps that's all it is.

Some people keep their TV on all day plain stuff in the background. Other people don't have the TV on very often. For the second group of people, having a TV that looks in offensive when it is off is pretty appealing. If you have it play images, it looks like a framed print rather than a piece of electronics. I suppose you could call that "wife approval" but I think it's more to say that some people just want their home to look nice.

It has a matte screen and actually looks like art when idle.

Yeah it's actually pretty convincing. And the matte screen is awesome if you have glare issues

I have one that is kept in Art Mode whenever I have guests.
I have never received any compliment other than "Painting looks great".
And it's always fun to see their amusement when I tell them it's a TV. More often than not, I have to turn to TV mode to prove it's not a painting.

my wife has been wanting one of these TVs for awhile now. Gonna wait and see how Amazon's Ember Artline reviews

I have one of these, but in 55". the bigger ones are not as convincing as real art because it stretches the 4k pixels.
also, the samsung tv software is GOD awful. like, the some of the worst software I have EVER used. I would never recommend samsung to anyone after using this, but it's good for my purpose (I use it in an art wall, not as a real tv) since I never actually use the remote or settings.
