My FIL with dementia likes to to mess with things he shouldn't. We track him with AirTags, some of which are housed in these exact cases. Problem solved with messing with things he shouldn't since he doesn't have the key to open these, and he'd never been able to figure it out on his own due to his poor cognitive functioning. AirTags in general are very helpful when it comes to taking care of someone with dementia.

these do NOT include AirTags. These are only cases for airtags to go in that provides additional protection and allows them to be stuck on certain surfaces.
There is a review on one of them that says they fit the Moto Tag, and those work with Android.

Where do you guys use these for airtags? To your vehicles??? I've seen keychain holders - and even hardcased holders - nothing that requires very strong adhesive. Are you sticking these to assets that can travel a distance - i.e. somewhere on an (e)bike/vehicle/luggage?

I bought this for my car and paired with a moto tag so it works with my pixel.

makes the battery last ten years (recommend buying quality batteries to not leak). I threw it in my trunk though under a blanket in the spare tire area just in case the car is ever stolen.

He has one attached to the back of his iPhone. Yes, we could use "Find My" from another device or computer to find his actual phone. However, sometimes he turns his phone off completely which renders "Find My" useless. With an AirTag on the device we can find the phone in his apartment no matter what the on/off status of the phone is, or if the volume is all the way down, or whatever the situation is. For $20-25 we can employ an AirTag to insure that we don't have to waste time searching all over the place for his phone. Prior to having the AirTag on the phone we were constantly searching for his phone.
My own elderly father was never a big phone guy. He would often just put the phone down in the house, not remember where it was, and then the battery would drain to zero. Important calls got missed, and he didn't have the phone when he needed it. AirTag solved the issue.
My only gripe with the AirTag/FindMy system is that Apple only allows 15 per account at any given time. That's too bad for Apple because I would gladly be buying more and deploying them to track important stuff like keys, wallets, devices, backpacks, etc - stuff that easily gets set down in a house and that I don't want to go on some mad-dash search to find.

I put one on my electric skateboard. It's discreet so hopefully if stolen no one rips it off. It will come off easily with a butter knife.

FYI the limit was raised to 32 (counting all Find My devices) a while ago: https://support.apple.com/en-us/101602

Not to be mean but sounds like everyone has some sort of dementia in your households . How old are you to be losing stuff all the time ? I have two younger children and haven't lost a phone, tv remote , keys anything .. I've wanted to pick AirTags up but I have no idea what I'd attach them to other than my kids if going to a big park (Disney) . How do people lose stuff so often. ( excluding elderly which I 100% understand that situation)

"Not to be mean but sounds like everyone has some sort of dementia"
Yeah, that's exactly what "mean" sounds like. Sheesh.
"I have two younger children and haven't lost a phone, tv remote , keys anything"
You are clearly superhuman. Please teach me how to be you!
