As others mentioned, you get more performance from similar-priced Motorola's, but one big downside is a lack of security updates. Samsung offers 6 years of security updates, Motorola offers 3. A 2025 Motorola stops getting security updates in January 2028.
However, most people will update their phone in 2-3 years as the battery cannot hold much charge after about 1000 charging cycles. This is one thing most people don't realize.
