- Motorola phones continue to provide compelling hardware value at their price points.
- Motorola phones have abysmal software support.
The funny thing is that this support issue has been well-documented and understood: https://www.androidpoliHowever, recent news has indicated ways in which that software support may get worse(!) for some buyers: https://www.androidauth
One interesting recent development for Samsung A-series buyers has been the increasing residual value of these devices. Though they aren't worth much as trade-in devices, I would consider it noteworthy that they have finally graduated to having some value in recent TMO offers. I just got promotional offers providing $250 valuations for my previously "free" A32 handsets. I'd otherwise assumed those models were headed for e-waste or trade-ins as "any models/any condition" devices.
Good luck!
Jon
If you're able to port in, the Sam A36 and Moto Edge 2025 are also available for free and blows the A17 out of the water.
Now you can get it with the $50 dollar plan $55 for the first month

However, most people will update their phone in 2-3 years as the battery cannot hold much charge after about 1000 charging cycles. This is one thing most people don't realize.
