Beautiful towers. Running them with RP-504C and 2 monolith subs. If I wasnt a bass-head, these towers alone are enough for a stereo setup. Also, they dont have the typical "tin"-like noise klipsch is known for.

How so / why? I have these in a small ish room in a new build home theater / living room space, and the back of the tower is about 6 inches from the wall.

Mine are 3 inches from the wall, had them this way for five years. They sound great.

If only I can go back in time and was able to get the ebony over the walnut. It's weird how the opposite color is on sale now.

Do these ever go on sale in a full setup in ebony? Last few sales have been on the walnut set only. Trying to determine if I should jump on this and piece the rest of my 7.1.4 setup together.
Can always wrap the speakers to change the color. They are a ton of different types of vinyl you can use

Bought two pairs of equivalent towers five years ago.

Along with two BIC 200 subs.

Don't fark with Karen neighbors that have decibel meters and local law enforcement on speed dial.

These dried up......... WooooSaaaah

Front left corner/ edge about a third of the way up. It's pretty minor. Klipsch could have packaged them better.
Mine have the exact same damage upon arrival. They sound so good and the price is so low I will probably just deal with it.

These sound amazing. The difference over previous year is significant - there is no more "hole" in the midrange, they do not sound overly treble-forward or whatever people used to say. I just listen to music direct, no EQ required. Chose these over the RF-7 iii; yes, it is lower in the product stack. But I've heard them both - so that is all I have to say.

I got the combo back with the 504 c ii center channel, and the RP 600 M ii's. Paired with existing subs - the theater experience is amazing, but the difference in music us unreal. Esp with a 5.1 or ATMOS release from Pink Floyd or Bowie (a real ATMOS mix, not something cranked out for Apple) -- so you really get to hear each speaker.

Only "problem": if you have an ATMOS system with a 7.1 base, the "Rear Surrounds" get nearly zero sound compared to the "Side Surrounds." It feels like a waste to have the RP 600 M ii's as rear surrounds. If you're building out a kit - use them as the "surrounds" in your 5.1, but move them to side surrounds when if you move up to 7.1 channel bed.

Sorry - got off topic from these towers. TL;DR you will NOT be disappointed!

Very believable that these would be similar or even better-sounding than the much higher priced RF7iii.

It's one of the dead giveaways of audio simpletons when they always assume that paying 3x more for something actually gives you 3x better sound quality. Kudos for not falling into that common sales trap.
